5/17-18/12 So Close, Yet So Far Away NR Falls Eleven Points Short in Failed Rockland County Championship Bid Dibari Wins Pole Vault, Lucien Wins Discus For Individual Event Titles
Try as He Might...Taylor Vippolis Led NR with Two Outstanding Efforts in the 400m and 800m, But Placed 2nd in Both
Suffern, NY - North Rockland's attempt to add yet another Rockland County Outdoor Championship to their trophy mantle came up short as the Red Raiders fell to Pearl River 114-103. Despite the loss, two Raiders earned individual Rockland titles to their resumes. Senior Donald Dibari won the pole vault with a leap of 13-00.00 and junior Phil Lucien won the discus with a throw of 150-04. Senior Taylor Vippolis tried to put the team's weight on his shoulders with times of 49 and 1:57 in the 400m and 800m, but it was not enough for the Raiders this season. results continued

5/14/12 Foley, Lugo Victories in Field Events Lead Raiders to Frosh-Soph Team Title Vazquez Drops to 4:36 in 1600m; Red Raiders 121.25 Points To Win Team Title Over Tappan Zee
West Nyack, NY - Sophomore Harrison Foley continued his strong throwing with a win in the shot and a second in the discus, while teammate Luis Lugo matched Foley's performance with a win in the triple jump and a second in the long jump as North Rockand claimed the Frosh-Soph team championship with 121.25 points at Clarkstown South High School. North Rockland won four events in the meet. Other winners included sophomore Janathan Raymond (400 IH) and the 4x8 relay of Matt Lemoine, Shane Carter, James Feeney and Vincent Vazquez. results continued

White Plains, NY - Senior Brett Bernard's 11th place in the 3k steeplechase was the highest overall individual finish of any North Rockland athlete at the competitive Glenn D. Loucks Games held at White Plains High School in White Plains, NY. The senior dropped his outdoor seasonal best time to 10:07 despite some technically flawed aspects of his race. The 4x800m relay, with newest member, sophomore Jayson Bretton, ran 8:03 to claim NR's best overall finish of the meet. results continued
